·         Statements will include how long it would take you pay off your balance making minimum payment;

·         No rate increases for the first year with certain exceptions;

·         Increased rates that will only apply to new charges;

·         Must opt-in with your credit card company to allow over-the-limit transactions;

·         There is a cap on high card fees;

·         If you are under 21, must show ability to repay or have a cosigner;

·         Statements must be mailed 21 days in advance of due date, with same due date each month & No Double Billing; 

·         Payments directed to the balances with the highest interest rates first (some exceptions when beneficial to consumer).
